I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME HOW TALL I AM
Review: Miles of Music
The rolling roots groove that drives this English band is as mesmerizing as the waving visual effect you see on a hot highway. The highway these cow-blokes have taken, though, has led them to California, and there they reside. As does their sound, which is a sensual and sorrowful blend of So-Cal country rock, filled with soaring harmonies and lap-steel, and English pop. Stirring and passionate, Fly Below The Radar fulfills the promise of 2002's Unstoppable e.p. by adding 6 tracks for a total of 11. New tracks, like "Somebody Down Here Loves You" and "Fragile", touch on majestic Oasis-like chorus territory, while many others retain the humble and moving acoustic driven sensitivity that make this band a hit.
